SYMPTOM(s):
Database will not start.
Getting error 44 when trying to start the database
** Database has the wrong version number. (db: <value>, pro: <value>). (44)
CAUSE:
Database was copied from Windows to Linux. You cannot use the copied db (done with probkup/prorest) on a machine with a different operating system (Windows/UNIX) at all.
FIX:
To copy a database from one Operating System to another you need to perform a dump & load.
