RedHat Bug 59029 may cause Hang on Linux operating system
Records stay locked by users process even after a disconnect is issues from promon and Progress process can not be killed even with kill -9.
Control-C through telnet client may cause runaway Progress process due to RedHat Linux Bug 59029
