SYMPTOM(s):
Problem deleting a database after copying it from win 2k box to a nt box via windows explorer.
The file structure on the new box is the same.
Progress version is the same on both boxes.
Sharing violation error received when trying to delete.
CAUSE:
Brought the .lk file over to this new location by opening it and then doing a save as to this directory on the new machine. He copied a live database.
FIX:
Run proshut dbname -by.
Delete database.
