SYMPTOM(s):
Attempting to startup a Progress AppServer process.
Passing the character "@" as an input parameter to the Progress AppServer startup procedure.
The Progress AppServer process (_proapsv.exe) generates a General Page Fault
(GPF) on the System.
Application Server initialization failure. (5475)
Message from server : getPropValue for keyword srvrStartupProcParam failed: WebSpeed error 10010, System error 0, Specified Keyword Value is invalid (6275) (8113)
IOException reading message from server : java.io.EOFException: pipe to server broken (8117)
ERROR: cannot start server. (8100)
Exception unbinding broker (not bound) : <appserver-broker-name> (8525)
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
To eliminate the problem, the startup parameter must be scaped ~@
