Using Procontrol's Other Tasks to run 4GL code
4GL program sends mail to MS Outlook 2000
ProControl started as specific domain user account with necessary privilges
4GL -- Error code: 0x80020009 COM-interface mail-ole.p (5890)
4GL code works properly if not run from within ProControl. It runs from Progress editor and sends mail to MS Outlook 2000 as well as works from Windows Scheduler.
CAUSE:
The Other Tasks tab was not intended to be overloaded to this degree. Most likely, the program ultimately being called does not work as an NT Service.
FIX:
Use the MAPI interface to run the Outlook Object Module
