SYMPTOM(s):
The View as phrase button is grayed out in a Data Viewer object.
CAUSE:
This option is no longer available for SmartDataViewer's fields with the exception of smartdatafields.
FIX:
To have a non-fill-in VIEW-AS phrase for a database field, insert the desired type from the palette and then open the property sheet, click on the "Database Field" button and select the field you want from the database.
Another method is to change the VIEW-AS phrase in the Data Dictionary.
