FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1D02
SYMPTOM(s):
Error after running conv89 with 9.1D01 or 9.1D02
Using conv89 to convert a Progress 8.x database to Progress 9.x database
conv89 left the database in a corrupt state.
An error occurs when the database started in multi-user mode after using conv89.
The error indicates a transaction sequence mismatch.
CAUSE:
A defect was discovered with the 9.1D01 and 9.1D02 Service Packs, requiring Progress to replace 9.1D02 for all platforms, with the 9.1D03 Service Pack.
FIX:
Go to backup and remove the Service Pack. With 9.1D, run the conversion utility. Or apply 9.1D03 and run the conversion utility.
