SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot find dloader.dll
CAUSE:
When running early versions of Progress on a Windows Platform after NT v3.1 the utilities (ie. proutil, rfutil) will fail with the following NT error message:
Cannot find dloader.dll
This is true for Progress Versions v7.3A, v7.3B prior to patch 7.3B09 and v7.3C proior to Pathc 7.3C01 on Mirosoft Platforms.
On Windows95 boot the machine in DOS mode and they try truncating.
FIX:
In order to make the Progress utilities work properly, the NT's FORCEDOS command must be used. The syntax is as follows:
FORCEDOS /D <current working dir> _proutil dbname -C truncate bi
