CTRL-D Not Working In V7 Installation

f during a V7 installation, after entering in your serial number(s)
and control code(s), you find that CTRL-D does not seem to be
recognized, you can usually get around this issue two ways:

1. You can try installing from another terminal type.

2. You can reset your TERM environment variable and restart the
installation from the same terminal. The terminals where we have seen
this problem are SUN terminals and HP terminals. For the SUN terminals
(and most others) you should be able to set TERM=vt100 and restart the
installation.

For the HP terminals you need to go into the terminal configuration
menu and define the terminal as a vt100 (usually indicated by EM100).
Then set TERM=vt100 and the installation should work and allow you
to use CTRL-D to continue.

We have also seen this problem with IBM 3151 terminals, and there is
no workaround. They must find another type of terminal to do the
installation from. This has been logged as a bug and is fixed in
version 7.3c.
