SYMPTOM(s):
Using an ActiveX to access Oracle database with 4GL
Using an ActiveX to access any database with 4GL
Using an ActiveX to access MS SQLServer database with 4GL
Using OCX MS ADODC.OCX and Attunity
CAUSE:
Any problem that comes with such an OCX embedded in a 4GL program is not supported by Progress.
FIX:
Call the supplier of the OCX, or use native 4GL do access the database with an appropriate DataServer such as Oracle DataServer or MS SQL DataServer.
