Error is generated by the 8.2C r-code on windows 2000 only.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Error is not generated by the 8.3E r-code on windows 2000 or other platforms.
The same 8.2C r-code works fine under Windows 95 or Windows 98.

CAUSE:
Version 8.2x is neither not supported on Windows 2000 platforms.
FIX:
Upgrade to Progress 8.3C or later a version that is supported and certified on Windows 2000 operating system. If upgrading to Progress 8.3C or later is not feasible and the application must run the 8.2C r-code, then downgrade the Operating System to Windows 95 or Windows 98.
