SmartSelect browse performance too slow.
FIX:
Following are suggestions to enhance the performance of the SmartSelect:
1. Limit the number of fields in the SDO feeding the browse to only those fields being used.
2. Ensure that the underlying Query is using an indexed field.
4. As a last resort revise the application design replacing the offending SmartSelect widget with some other widget.
