Error 2935 on an record update with the Progress ODBC driver
The following error will occur when Microsoft Access and Microsoft
Visual Basic use the Progress ODBC driver to update a record in a
Progress table that has a character field with 0 length data.
ex: The customer table in the sports database has a character field
called Address2. Many records in the customer table have no data (0
length) in the Address2 field.
The problem resides in the Microsoft Jet Engine 2 (used by Microsoft
Access and Microsoft Visual Basic with ODBC). The Microsoft Jet
Engine 2.5 patch resolves this problem and can be obtained from
Microsoft.
