SYMPTOM(s):
Could not connect to server for database <DATABASE>, errno 238. (1432)
Network parameters are set correctly.
connection to remote dbs is failing with this hp-machine.
remote dbs are accessable by other clients.
CAUSE:
port on the client is blocking any outgoing traffic.
FIX:
check the network and especially the ports on your client.
