Database shuts down
bkiowrite:Unknown O/S error during write, errno 2, fd xxx, len xxx, offset xxx, filename.bi. (9451)
CAUSE:
There is no disk space for the bi file. The OS can not write to disk because there isn't enough disk space at that point in time. You may have plenty of disk space now but there wasn't enough disk space when the error occurred.
FIX:
Make sure there is disk space available for the bi file to grow. If there seems to be enough disk space currently available, monitor the disk space usage at the time of the error. A possible cause could be a program running at the time of the error that created temp files which use up the disk space.
