GOAL:
Can the ESC-R (REPLACE) event by applied programmatically to a character browse while in row mode?
GOAL:
In code wants to toggle between editable mode and non editable mode.
FACT(s) (Environment):
SCO UnixWare 7.0.1
Progress 8.3B
FIX:
There is no way to apply the ESC-R (REPLACE) event programatically on a UNIX based character browse while in row mode.
Furthermore, manually pressing Esc-R will switch an updatable browse from "edit mode" to "row mode" however pressing Esc-R has no effect while in "row mode".
