PROCEDURE EDITOR in 7.3B will not load file larger than 32K
If a user reports that their Procedure Editor in 7.3B will not load
any files larger than 32K, this is likely due to the fact that they
have installed the DOUBLE-BYTE ENABLED product in addition to other
products.
The double-byte product is included automatically with 7.3B. If a
user should happen to include it during installation, a special
double-byte _prowin.exe file will be written into the DLC area.
The Procedure Editor associated with this product does not support
the "large" editor widget that allowed bigger files to be loaded
into Version 7.3A.
Workaround: use the _prowin2.exe executable or reinstall PROGRESS
without including the double-byte enabled (DBE) product.
