Commas and periods are reversed
Numbers are are displayed with the correct digits
Only some clients experience the problem.
CAUSE:
During the installation of Progress you can choose what the default number format to display. This information is recorded in the startup.pf file.
FIX:
Modify the startup.pf file. The numsep and numdec parameters control how numbers are displayed. For numbers to display as 1,234.56 the settings are:
-numsep 44
-numdec 46
For numbers to display as 1.234,56 the settings are:
-numsep 46
-numdec 44
