Does Progress support mixing different versions of Webspeed Messenger and WebSpeed Transaction Server?

WebSpeed 3.x
FIX:
Below is the compatibility chart for Client/Server compatibility for a
Transaction Server. Any combination that is not on the chart is not
supported.
Messenger Version Transaction Server Version
3.1D 3.1D
3.1C 3.1C
3.1B 3.1B
3.1A 3.1A
3.0B 3.0B
3.0A 3.0A
Please note that mixing versions of WS messenger and WS Transaction Server is not supported, however the configuration will work.
