SYMPTOM(s):
Installation of Progress 9.1D failed
After reboot and log on as a user the following messages appear:
Error occurred calling DllRegisterServer() in c:\program files\common\files\system\ado
referencing the following files:
msado15.dll
msador15.dll
msadrh15.dll
msadomd.dll
msadox.dll
msjro.dll
msadce.dll
After pressing OK on each of the messages the machine hangs with a blue screen.
Installation type: netsetup
Licences: Workgroup Database, C/N, Report Builder
CAUSE:
User permissions incorrectly set
FIX:
Logon as Administrator. Allocate the correct rights to the users.
