Intermittent Progress client disconnection using Terminal Server and or MetaFrame
error (290) with Progress clients using Windows 2000 Terminal Server SP3
SYSTEM ERROR: I/O error 22 in readit, ret -1, file 9, addr 0. (290)
SYSTEM ERROR: I/O error n in program, ret n, file n, addr n. (290)
Clients disconnected from database with error (290)
CAUSE:
This was found to be a problem with the network component - hub on the network
FIX:
Replacing the faulty network component (hub/switch) has resolved the problem.
