Use of POP-UP menus in character mode: how to popup the menu
In character mode, the way to get a pop-up menu to appear is to use
ESC-U. This is for UNIX and VMS character mode applications.
To pop-up a menu in the Windows character client you need to use
SHIFT-F4.
This is documented in Pocket Progress in the Key Functions and
Key Labels section, as the DEFAULT-POP-UP key function.
