Using QuickBooks ActiveX Object
QuickBooks BeginSession method returns unknown value
CAUSE:
The type library information exposed by the QuickBooks ActiveX Object incorrectly specifies the method as having no return value. The method does in fact have a return value and that value is needed by the rest of the method calls.

Contact QuickBooks for an updated (and accurate) type library
