GOAL:
Is there a special parameter needed when connecting a WebSpeed agent to a database?
FACT(s) (Environment):
WebSpeed 3.x
FIX:
A Webspeed client, the agent, is simply a 4gl client connecting to the database in batch mode. An agent connection can be self-service (SELF) or remote (REMC), just like the _progres/prowin32.exe.
There are no special parameters needed for both the WebSpeed client (the agent) and/or the server (database). By default, the agent connection string starts off with;
-p web\objects\web-disp.p -weblogerror
