Unable to start maximum number of WebSpeed agents.
The server or the system has no more resources. Try a larger -n. (748)
Error 748 in both database log and webspeed server log files
FACT(s) (Environment):
Initial number of agents was set to 25
WebSpeed 3.x
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.x
Progress 9.x
CAUSE:
Database server startup parameters does not have -n parameter so the maximum number of users is being set to default to 21
FIX:
Set the database server startup parameter -n to the value high enough to allow all required WebSpeed agents connections in addition to other connecting clients and restart database.
