Memory violations occur when the application does not use a FIND prev
ext statement
SYSTEM ERROR: Memory violation. (49)
Under Progress 8.2B, no memory violations occur and application runs fine.
Memory violations does not occur when the application uses a FIND prev
ext statement.
CHANGE:
Upgrading from Progress 8.2B to Progress 8.3A
CAUSE:
Development found that an error was made during the final build of the CD image creation process for 8.3A on the Alphaosf/Digital UNIX platform. The final build was pointing to the wrong executable directory.
FIX:
Fixed in Progress 8.3B.
Or Rebuild the Progress executable.
